We are excited about sharing this weekend with the Town of Sylvan Lake and their Family Day weekend festivities. It is also Valentine's Day on Sunday! so join us in what is looking like a fun filled weekend.

We have creating a 2.5 kilometer track so our spectators can see the racers more often and our crew can maintain the track easier.

We will have our festive village with food, music, replica of the Dutch Bartlehiem bridge, fire pits and a warming tent. This year we will have some cozy seating areas for spectators and there will be lots to do as the Town of Sylvan has activities for the whole family!

A special Hotdog BBQ , Hot Chocolate and Valentine "Tours" of our 2.5km track all for a donation to the Ronald McDonald House Charities Central Alberta!

Saturday night the Town of Sylvan will do a show of Fireworks at 7pm

Best Western Sylvan and Lost Harbour Inn are giving discounts to those attending our events.  Just mention Foothills Speed Skating and or Sylvan Lake Ice Marathon.

Looking forward to seeing you out on the natural ice!
